Thermal Insulation: Cellular Glass
Cellular glass insulation is a lightweight, rigid insulating material composed of millions of completely sealed glass cells, each an insulating space. This all glass, closed cell structure provides an unmatched combination of physical properties ideal for piping and equipment above ground as well as below ground, indoors and outdoors, at operating temperatures from -450°F to +900°F (-268°C to + 482°C)
Due to it's physical strength and high moisture resistance, Cellular glass pipe insulation is ideal and most widely used for insulating undergroung piping systems. It's low thermal resistance is far outweighted by it's outstanding below ground performance. DATA SHEET: View MSDS SHEET: View |

HOLD Catalyst is a solution of an organometallic compound in mineral spirits. It is applied by a suitable small sprayer to an applied PC® 88 adhesive ( FI-125) layer. It provides quick set and will reduce or eliminate the time needed for temporary support in unsupported or overhead FOAMGLAS® insulation applications. It may be used to fabricate FOAMGLAS® insulation shapes using PC® 88 adhesive as the bonding agent. |

PC® Fabric 79 is an open mesh, synthetic fabric for reinforcing PITTCOTE® 404 (FI 138) or PITTCOTE® 300 (FI-120) coating over FOAMGLAS® insulation. The large mesh openings allow the coating to easily penetrate and bond to the insulation and fabric. The thickness of the fabric assures that the proper thickness of the coating is applied and gives the required strength. The high elongation accommodates large and mechanical movements without rupture and allows maximum movement of the coating. |
